Erica Enders

6X NHRA PRO STOCK CHAMPION

About ERICA

Six-time Pro Stock world champion Erica Enders is the winningest female driver in motorsports history. She began her drag racing career with nine years of competition in Jr. Dragsters where she collected 37 wins and was named Jr. Dragster Driver of the Year in 1995. Her success, along with sister Courtney, inspired the Disney Channel Original Movie, “Right on Track” that debuted in 2003 with Beverly Mitchell and Academy Award Winner Brie Larson portraying the Enders sisters.

At age 16, Enders began racing in the NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series becoming the Sportsman Rookie of the Year in 2000. In 2004, she won her first national event title in Super Gas before moving into the professional ranks in 2005.

Enders made history in her rookie season becoming the first female to reach a final round in Pro Stock. She broke through for her first professional win in 2012, closing out the season with a total of four victories for a fourth place points finish. In 2014, Enders joined Elite Motorsports and etched her name in the record books once again earning the first world championship for a female in the category. She also set the Pro Stock national speed record with her 215.55 mph run at Englishtown Raceway in New Jersey. Enders would win a second consecutive championship in 2015 before powering her way to her third and fourth championships in 2019 and 2020.

In 2022, with 18 national events on the Pro Stock schedule, Enders had 13 final round appearances with a career best 10 victories and six No. 1 qualifying positions. She also ran her quickest elapsed time, a 6.450-second pass, at Gainesville Raceway during the Gatornationals. En route to her sixth world title in 2023, Enders would pick up her 47th professional career victory at The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, making her the winningest female in motorsports history. Enders would finish the season with four wins and five No. 1 qualifying positions helping her to earn her second consecutive Pro Stock championship and fourth in five years.

Enders’ 2024 NHRA season started with the achievement of a longtime goal, her first win at the NHRA Gatornationals at Gainesville Raceway in Florida. She led the points standings for three events, had three runner-up finishes and never dropped below fourth in the championship hunt, which is where she closed out the season.

In 2025, Enders further solidified her future Hall of Fame status securing a milestone 50th national event win at drag racing’s most prestigious race, the NHRA U.S. Nationals. She’d close out the year with an additional two final round appearances and a sixth place points finish.

Enders is anything but a hired driver. She not only takes a hands-on approach to the engineering of her finely tuned Pro Stock machine but also contributes to the entire Elite Motorsports fleet of Pro Stock cars. She takes her unofficial job of role model seriously too. She can be seen watching Jr. Dragster competition, speaking with young fans, taking photos and signing autographs all in an effort to fuel their dreams
