Mike Lomas is the newest addition to Elite Motorsports’ multi-category program, representing the team in the high-stakes Competition Eliminator division of the Lucas Oil NHRA Drag Racing Series.

Lomas built his foundation in Sportsman drag racing, highlighted by a breakthrough 2025 season where he claimed his first official NHRA victory in Super Gas at the NHRA Canadian National Open. Following his milestone win, Lomas partnered with Elite Motorsports to step into Competition Eliminator, driving a 2008 Chevrolet Cobalt with primary sponsorship from his business, The Financial Guys. Off the track, Lomas serves as President of The Financial Guys LLC.

Teaming up with fellow Elite Sportsman driver Royce Lee Freeman, Lomas’ 2026 schedule features 10 events, beginning at the prestigious NHRA 4-Wide Nationals at zMAX Dragway. As part of Elite Motorsports’ long-standing commitment to the grassroots backbone of NHRA drag racing, Lomas competes alongside Elite’s championship-winning programs across Top Fuel, Pro Stock, and Pro Mod.
