ABOUT FERNANDO CUADRA JR.

The eldest of the “Cuadra Boys” as they are known in the drag racing world, Fernando Cuadra Jr. is a
second-generation racer from Leon, Mexico. Along with his father Fernando Cuadra Sr., and brother Cristian,
Fernando Jr. competes in the challenging NHRA Camping World Drag Racing Series Pro Stock category.

While moving an engine in 2020, Fernando Jr. sustained a back injury, which threatened to end his burgeoning
career. The determined driver took the same focus and discipline he uses on the track and attacked his
rehabilitation plan with vigor. He is fully rehabilitated and eager to make up for the seat time he missed while
recuperating.

The second-generation drag racer has had success in both Mexico and U.S. including winning the 2021
CTECH World Doorslammer Nationals Presented By JEGS, where he faced his brother Cristian in the finals.

The Cuadra Boys are all a part of Elite Motorsports, the largest professional drag racing team in the NHRA. As
he continues to hone his craft, Fernando Jr. is hopeful that he will be the first in his family to earn a Pro Stock
national event victory. With his father and brother eyeing the same prize, the most heated track battles are
fought when he is up against another member of his family. His Corral Boots Ford Mustang is certainly making
strides in that direction.

When he’s not racing, Fernando Jr. is an integral part of the Cuadra family business, Corral Boots, a
world-renowned maker of handcrafted, high-quality boots and leather accessories.
